God's living Presence and His sustaining
Word
Today's
manna (God's living Presence and His sustaining Word) is all
you have to live on. Yesterday's is good, but it won't keep
you alive. Only what is filled with fresh life breathed from
God has the power to sustain you. If God were to return
today and look inside you, would He find enough evidence to
identify you as one of His living sons? Many Christians are
walking around with a lot of knowledge of God, but they are
not filled with the divine 'rouach' (literally translated
means 'air') or breath of Jesus, and are living on borrowed
spiritual time. We must not think we can continue on
anything less than His living Presence. It is good for 24
hrs. but tomorrow you need some more to live eternally. That
is because it is food for our Spirit man, not just the mind.
This life comes from the place of daily abiding in His Word.
The Bible says that when the Israelites in the Old Testament
gathered the manna (Heaven's bread) from the fields that had
fallen the day before, it was no longer edible, but 'stank.'
